MidnightView i7-12700K Gaming Desktop

This new PRC MidnightView system is built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700K processor with 12 cores and 20 threads reaching 5.0 GHz. It targets enthusiasts who want a ready-to-play machine for high-resolution gaming and heavy multitasking. The 1 TB NVMe SSD holds the Windows 11 Home install and a large game library.

Sustained Load Behaviour

An ARGB high-performance CPU cooler manages the 12700K during long sessions while the RTX 3090 24 GB GDDR6X handles extended 4K workloads. The 650 W 80+ Gold power supply delivers stable current to both components under continuous demand. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4-3200 memory supports the CPU and GPU without bottlenecking typical gaming scenarios.

Thermals Noise and Power

The CPU cooler and graphics card fans work together to dissipate heat from the 12-core processor and 3090 GPU during normal use. The 80+ Gold unit draws only what the system requires, keeping AC consumption efficient. Buyers who need more than 16 GB of RAM or a second graphics card should look at alternative configurations.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 650W 80+ Gold supply draw when the RTX 3090 and i7-12700K run flat out all day?

The 650W 80+ Gold unit delivers up to 650 watts; the i7-12700K hits 5.0GHz boost and the RTX 3090 24GB GDDR6X is rated for high load, so sustained full-power gaming will push the supply close to its limit.

Does the ASUS/MSI/Gigabyte LGA 1700 board include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, or must I add a separate card?

The system board provides 10/100/1000 wired networking; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are listed in the build, so no extra card is required for wireless connectivity.

Will my older DDR4-3200 sticks work alongside the 16GB kit already installed?

The desktop ships with 16GB DDR4-3200; the board uses standard DDR4 slots, so additional DDR4-3200 modules can be added for more capacity.
