PRC TUF Gaming Special Edition Desktop

This PRC TUF Gaming Special Edition desktop is a pre-built gaming PC built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core processor running at 3.8GHz. It ships with 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD for the operating system and game library. An AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6 handles rendering, while a Thermaltake 360mm liquid cooler manages CPU thermals inside an ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 tempered glass case. Windows 10 Pro is installed and the system undergoes a 72-hour test cycle before dispatch.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The 8-core CPU and 32GB DDR4 suit gamers and streamers who want strong multi-threaded performance without building a system themselves. Buyers who need more than 1TB of fast storage or who require a newer graphics architecture with hardware-accelerated ray tracing should consider a different configuration. The included WiFi 5 and Gigabit Ethernet cover standard networking needs, while the 700W power supply supports the installed components.

Deciding specification: Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6

The Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 is the component that defines whether this build matches your performance target. It delivers high frame rates at 1440p in most current titles but lacks dedicated ray-tracing cores and AI upscaling hardware found in later GPU generations. If your workflow or game library depends on those specific features, this graphics card will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS motherboard limit the 1 TB NVMe SSD to PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 speeds?

The X570 chipset supports PCIe 4.0, so the 1 TB NVMe drive can run at its full Gen 4 rate rather than being capped at Gen 3.

Will the 360 mm Thermaltake liquid cooler clear the 32 GB DDR4-3200 modules inside the ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 case?

The GT501 mid-tower is built for eATX boards and tall memory; the 288-pin DDR4 sticks fit under the 360 mm radiator without interference.

How is Windows 10 Pro activated on the 1 TB NVMe SSD after the 72-hour test cycle?

The OS arrives pre-installed and activated on the NVMe drive; first boot only requires accepting the licence terms and connecting to the internet.
