Built for 12-core Ryzen gaming

This desktop pairs a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 3900X running at 3.8 GHz with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a Radeon RX 6600 XT carrying 8 GB of GDDR6. Windows 11 Pro is installed on a 2 TB NVMe SSD. The specification targets enthusiasts who want high thread counts for streaming or content work alongside 1080p and 1440p gaming.

Fits a GT501 case with liquid cooling

The ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 RGB tempered-glass mid-tower houses a Thermaltake 360 mm liquid cooler for the processor, a 700 W power supply and the graphics card. Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi 5 provide wired and wireless networking. No monitor is included, so a display must be supplied separately.

Sustained load handled by 360 mm loop

The 360 mm liquid loop keeps the 12-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions, while the 700 W unit delivers continuous power to the GPU and platform. The 2 TB NVMe drive maintains throughput for long installs or recording without thermal throttling.

Questions about this item

Will the Ryzen 9 3900X throttle under sustained all-core workloads with the Thermaltake Floe Riing 360 liquid cooler?

The 360 mm radiator and pump are designed to keep the 12-core processor at its 3.8 GHz base clock during extended loads, though actual temperatures depend on case airflow and ambient temperature.

How loud is the system when the Radeon RX 6600 XT and CPU are both under full load for hours?

The GT501 case uses tempered glass panels that dampen noise, while the liquid cooler and GPU fans run at lower RPMs than air coolers, so the system stays relatively quiet even during long gaming sessions.

Does the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PLUS WiFi motherboard require any extra parts before the PC will boot?

No, the motherboard, 16 GB DDR4-3200 memory, 2 TB NVMe SSD, graphics card, 700 W power supply and Windows 11 Pro are all pre-installed and tested, so only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed.
