PrehKeyTec 2×2 Relegendable Key Caps

This set supplies four black key caps arranged in a two-by-two layout for PrehKeyTec programmable keyboards. Each cap is legendable so users can apply custom labels for specific point-of-sale functions. The pack contains fifty caps, providing spares for high-traffic retail or hospitality environments. They are sold as new accessories for existing keyboard hardware.

Suits operators who need clear, changeable legends

The caps fit cashiers, bar staff and kiosk managers who frequently update menu items or function assignments. Buyers who require a different key profile, alternative colours or compatibility with non-PrehKeyTec hardware should look at other accessory lines. The product addresses only the labelling layer, not the underlying switch mechanism.

Fifty caps per bag for ongoing maintenance

A single bag delivers fifty legendable caps, enough to refresh multiple workstations or maintain a service stock. This quantity determines whether the pack covers a full rollout or a top-up order. Confirm the total number of programmable positions on your keyboards before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Should I order the 2×2 black caps or the 50-piece bag for my POS keyboard?

The 2×2 set gives four legendable caps for a small key block; the 50-piece bag supplies enough caps to cover a full keyboard layout.

What does “relegendable” mean once these caps are fitted to my terminal?

Each cap has a clear window so you can slide in a custom printed label and change the legend whenever the keyboard function changes.

Which keyboard interface or mounting standard do these 12308-103/1800 caps use?

They are standard PrehKeyTec keycaps that press onto the brand’s own switch stems; no universal cross-stem or Cherry MX mount is implied.
