9-inch roller cover for extra-rough surfaces
This 9-inch Premier roller cover uses a 1-1/4-inch nap polyester sleeve on a 1-1/2-inch polypropylene core. It fits standard cage frames and is designed for all paint types on brick, concrete and masonry. The cover is supplied new and ready for heavy-texture work.
Suited for rough masonry and stucco jobs
Painters coating brick, block, concrete or heavily textured plaster will get the paint carry and release needed for deep profiles. It is not intended for smooth drywall, fine trim or lacquer finishes where a short-nap or microfibre cover would leave less texture.
Standard cage-frame compatibility
The polypropylene core accepts any standard 9-inch cage roller frame, so no special handle or adapter is required. No tray, extension pole or cleaning tools are bundled with the cover.

Questions about this item
Which roller frame do I need for the 1-1/2 in core diameter?
Use a standard cage-style frame that accepts a 1-1/2 in core; the cover slides onto the cage and locks in place.
Will this polyester cover work with the oil-based primer I already have?
Yes, the cover is rated for all paints, so it handles oil-based primer, latex, and acrylic without shedding.
How do I know the 1-1/4 in nap is laying down enough material on brick?
After the first pass the surface should show a uniform, stippled film with no bare spots; if coverage looks thin, reload and roll again.
