Presonus PBA-2 broadcast boom arm with adjustable tension and cable channels

Professional broadcast boom arm

The PreSonus PBA-2 is a heavy-duty microphone boom arm designed for recording and streaming setups. It features five articulation points with friction locks that allow precise microphone positioning. Adjustable tension control accommodates both heavy and lightweight microphones securely. Integrated cable channels route cables inside the arm for a clean, professional appearance.

Streamers and podcasters needing desk-mounted reach

This arm suits content creators who want to remove the microphone from their desk surface and position it at mouth level without hunching. The adjustable tension handles heavier broadcast microphones as well as lighter models. Users requiring a floor stand, wall mount, or overhead suspension system should consider alternative mounting styles not offered by this desk-clamp design.

Stable positioning during long sessions

The friction locks at each articulation point hold the microphone firmly in place once set, resisting drift from vibration or accidental contact. Adjustable tension compensates for different microphone weights so the arm stays balanced without constant readjustment. Internal cable channels prevent cables from snagging or pulling on the arm during movement, maintaining consistent placement throughout extended recording or streaming periods.
