Huge Cooking Surface for Crowds

The Presto 07046 Tilt'nDrain BigGriddle provides a 24 by 18.5 inch nonstick cooking surface that holds up to 12 slices of french toast at once. It produces up to 50 percent more food than other jumbo griddles, making it suited for large families or group gatherings. The heavy cast aluminum base distributes heat evenly across the entire area.

Check Power Supply and Counter Space

Verify that your kitchen has a 120 volt outlet capable of delivering 1500 watts for this appliance. The low-profile design requires enough flat countertop or table space to accommodate the large cooking surface and the slide-out drip tray. Ensure the Control Master heat control can be removed before washing the griddle body in a dishwasher.

Tilt Drain Handles Fat During Long Cooking

Pull the handles to tilt the cooking surface and drain juices or fats into the removable tray without interrupting the cooking process. The Control Master heat control maintains the selected temperature automatically throughout extended use. The cool-touch base stays safe to handle even after prolonged operation at serving temperatures.

Questions about this item

Does the Presto 07046 BigGriddle include the heat control, or must it be purchased separately?

The Control Master heat control is built into the griddle; nothing else is required to start cooking.

How do I decide between the listed cooking-surface dimensions of 24 by 18.5 inches and the 12-slice capacity claim?

The 24 x 18.5 inch non-stick surface is the physical area; the 12-slice figure shows how much french toast fits at once, so choose based on the food you cook most.

What does the 1500 W rating mean for everyday heating performance on a 120 volt circuit?

At 1500 watts on standard 120 volt power, the Control Master heat control brings the big surface to temperature quickly and holds it steady for consistent results.
