Reversed F-tab tandem roller

This is a reversed F-tab tandem roller assembly designed for patio doors. The adjustable stamped steel housing measures 11/16 in. wide with a flare width of 13/16 in. and stands 1-1/8 in. tall. It is used by Fleetwood and a variety of other patio door manufacturers.

Sustained load behaviour

Two 1-1/4 in. concave steel ball bearing rollers support the door weight across a 3-1/8 in. long housing. The rear adjustment screw allows precise alignment to maintain smooth travel over repeated cycles. Steel ball bearings resist deformation under continuous loading better than plastic alternatives.

Thermals noise and power

This passive mechanical component generates no heat and draws no power during operation. Ball bearing rollers produce minimal rolling noise compared with plain bushings. Lubrication intervals depend on environmental exposure and usage frequency rather than thermal limits.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 1-1/4 in. steel ball bearing tandem roller draw when the patio door runs all day?

The roller assembly has no motor or electrical parts, so it draws zero power during continuous operation.

What existing door components must I already own for the reversed F-tab tandem roller to install correctly?

You need a compatible patio door frame with an F-tab mounting slot and a rear adjustment screw that matches the 11/16 in. housing width and 13/16 in. flare.

Will the 1-1/4 in. concave steel rollers work smoothly alongside the original Fleetwood track hardware I plan to keep?

Yes, the tandem roller is used by Fleetwood and other manufacturers, so its grooved ball bearing rollers are designed to mate with existing Fleetwood track profiles.
