This flat screen spline is constructed of UV-stabilised extruded vinyl in a black finish. It measures 5/16 in. (.315) wide by .092 in. tall and is supplied as a 100 ft. roll. The profile features a flat bottom and a curved top edge designed for aluminium screen frames.

Replaces worn or damaged spline in existing screens

The spline is used for installing fiberglass screen mesh into aluminium screen frames by laying it flat into the spline channel over the mesh. The inner edge inserts under the frame lip before the outer edge is rolled in. A Prime-Line P 8228 flat spline rolling tool is recommended for the installation process.
