Prismacolor 2427 Verithin Colored Pencils 24 Set

Verithin 24-Color Set

The Prismacolor 2427 set contains 24 Verithin colored pencils in assorted colors. They use a harder, thinner core than standard colored pencils for precise lines and fine detail. Artists and students choose them for technical drawing, illustration and lettering work.

Harder Core Upgrade

These pencils replace softer wax-based pencils when clean edges and minimal smudging are required. The harder lead holds a sharp point longer, so the jump is worth it for cross-hatching, outlining and detailed coloring where broad strokes would obscure the work.

Surface And Technique Check

Verify that your paper has enough tooth to accept the harder pigment without excessive pressure. Smooth or coated papers may resist the thinner core, while very soft papers can tear under the firmer hand needed for consistent coverage.
