Sensor-safe RTV gasket maker in a 3 oz tube cures at room temperature in one day, handles gaps up to 0.25 in and withstands -75 to 400 °F for oil- and water-resistant seals
Pro-Seal 80006 is a sensor-safe RTV gasket maker supplied in a 3 oz blue tube. It forms a flexible, oil-resistant and water-resistant seal on metal surfaces. The acetoxy silicone paste cures at room temperature to create a durable gasket for automotive and industrial assemblies.
The compound withstands continuous operating temperatures from -75 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. It offers a working time of 10 minutes before skinning over and reaches full cure in 1 day. The low volatile formulation reduces emissions during application and cure.
This product fills gaps up to 0.25 inches, making it suitable for flanges and housings within that tolerance. It is not intended for larger voids or structural bonding applications. Buyers needing to bridge wider gaps should select a different sealant.

Cut the nozzle to a 0.25 in bead, apply a continuous line to one clean metal surface, assemble within the 10 min working time, then let it cure for 1 day at room temperature before adding fluids.
The cured acetoxy silicone gasket resists oil, water and chemicals with no scheduled maintenance; inspect it only when the joint is opened for unrelated repairs.
The seal is rated for continuous service up to 400 Degrees F; sustained exposure above that temperature will degrade the silicone before the 500 Degrees F intermittent limit is reached.
