Fits 2019-2026 Audi Q2

This Pro Star USB CD player is designed specifically for the 2019 to 2026 Audi Q2 models that lack a factory disc drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port to restore physical media playback. The unit draws power from the same connection, so no separate wiring or adapters are required.

Plug-and-play USB installation

The single cable plugs into the car's existing USB port without tools or additional harnesses. Allow two minutes for the disc to finish indexing during initial setup; interrupting this process requires restarting the installation steps with a different disc.

Flexible mounting and factory control

The compact drive can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the cable reaches. Playback is managed through the original radio interface or steering wheel buttons, keeping the driver's hands on the wheel.

Questions about this item

How does the USB-powered CD player actually work once I plug it into my Audi Q2?

The unit draws power from the car's USB port and connects to the factory radio or steering wheel controls so you can play, pause, and skip tracks on CDs through the vehicle's own audio system.

What interface does the player use and what functions does it support?

It uses a standard USB connection for both power and data, enabling plug-and-play operation with the car's infotainment system for CD playback and control via the factory interface.

Where can I mount the CD player in the Audi Q2 and how much cable length do I have?

The player can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the supplied USB cable reaches the vehicle's USB port.
