What It Is

The Pro Star Bluetooth USB CD Player is an add-on single-disc drive for 2019-2026 Chevrolet Tracker models that lack a factory CD player. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port to restore the ability to play physical audio CDs through the car's sound system.

Installation And Mounting

The unit draws power from the USB connection and requires no additional wiring or tools. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or any location where the cable reaches the port, and is controlled using the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

Operation Notes

The manufacturer advises allowing two minutes for the disc to finish indexing during initial setup to avoid installation issues. If the process is interrupted, a different CD must be inserted and the full procedure restarted from step one of the included printed instructions.

Questions about this item

What USB standard does the Pro Star CD player use and what does that limit?

The player draws power and data from the car's USB port, so playback speed and indexing time depend on that port's current and bandwidth.

It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the center console, in the glove box, or anywhere the supplied cable reaches the USB port.

What installation step causes the most problems?

Interrupting the two-minute CD indexing process; if it stops early, insert a different CD and restart the instructions from step one.
