Add External CD Playback to Durango

This Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Dodge Durango models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle USB port and draws power from the same connection. No extra wiring or tools are needed for installation. The compact unit mounts vertically or horizontally wherever the cable reaches.

For Owners Who Want CD Access, Not Media Hubs

This device suits Durango drivers who still use physical CDs and want control through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons. It is not for buyers who need DVD playback, HDMI input, or multi-disc changers. It also does not add smartphone mirroring or navigation features. Installers who cannot wait two minutes for disc indexing should consider other options.

Two-Minute Disc Indexing Before Use

The critical step is allowing a full two minutes for the CD to finish indexing after insertion. Interrupting this process requires restarting the entire setup with a different disc and repeating every instruction from step one. Success depends entirely on observing this wait period. The printed manual included with the unit details the exact sequence.
