Add-on CD player for 2019–2026 Mach-E

This Pro Star unit gives Ford Mustang Mach-E owners a factory-missing CD playback option. It connects through the vehicle’s existing USB port and draws power from the same connection. The device is compatible with model years 2019 through 2026.

USB port bandwidth and indexing delay

The player relies on the car’s USB interface for both data and power, so throughput is limited to what that port provides. Each disc requires roughly two minutes to finish indexing before tracks become selectable; interrupting the process forces a full restart with a different disc.

Replaces the absent factory CD slot

It restores physical-media playback that Ford omitted from the Mach-E without replacing the head unit or running extra wiring. The upgrade makes sense for drivers who still buy or burn CDs and want them controllable from the stock radio or steering-wheel buttons. Buyers who only stream or use digital files have no need for this hardware.

Questions about this item

Which Pro Star CD player version fits my 2019-to-2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

This single model is built for the 2019-2026 Mach-E range; no other version or capacity is offered.

What does “plug into the car’s USB port” actually deliver once installed?

The unit draws power and audio data through the factory USB socket, letting the original radio and steering-wheel buttons control CD playback.

Which interface standard does the USB connection use, and what does that limit?

The cable plugs into the vehicle’s standard USB port, so bandwidth and power are limited to what that port provides.
