Pro Star CD Player for 2019-2026 Kia K900

This Pro Star unit adds a CD player to 2019-2026 Kia K900 models that lack a factory disc drive. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. The device mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. Installation requires no extra wiring or tools.

USB port compatibility and indexing time

The single specification that decides fitment is the presence of a functional USB port in the Kia K900. The cable plugs directly into that port for both data and power. The manufacturer highlights a mandatory two-minute indexing period after a disc is inserted; interrupting this process forces a restart of the setup routine.

Steering-wheel control retention under sustained use

Once indexed, the player streams audio to the factory radio and responds to steering-wheel controls for track changes and volume. Because power comes from the vehicle USB port, operation remains stable for long drives without a separate power supply. The plug-and-play design avoids wiring fatigue that can affect hard-wired aftermarket units.

Questions about this item

How does the Pro Star Bluetooth USB CD Player integrate with the 2019-2026 Kia K900's existing audio system?

It plugs directly into the vehicle's USB port and lets you control playback through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

What USB interface does the CD player use and what limits does it impose?

The unit draws power and sends audio over the car's USB port, so performance depends on that port's power output and data capability.

Where can the CD player be mounted in the Kia K900?

It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches.
