Vehicle-Specific CD Player Integration

The Pro Star Bluetooth USB CD Player is designed for 2019 through 2026 Kia Telluride models that lack a factory disc drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection, requiring no additional wiring or tools for installation.

Single-Disc Playback and Indexing Time

The unit handles one standard CD at a time and relies on the vehicle's infotainment system for audio output and control via the factory radio or steering wheel buttons. A mandatory two-minute indexing period occurs after disc insertion; interrupting this process requires restarting the setup with a different disc.

USB Port Dependency and Mounting Constraints

Operation is limited by the reach of the supplied USB cable, so the player must be placed on the centre console, in the glove box, or another location within that tether length. Vehicles without an accessible USB port cannot use this device, and there is no support for digital audio files stored on USB storage media.

Questions about this item

Will this Pro Star CD player work with the factory radio and steering wheel controls in my 2019 Kia Telluride?

Yes, the unit is designed to control music playback through your factory radio or steering wheel controls once connected to the vehicle's USB port.

How can I confirm the Pro Star CD player has finished indexing a disc after I plug it in?

Allow two minutes for the CD to complete indexing; if the process is interrupted, insert a different disc and restart the installation steps from the beginning.

Does the Pro Star USB CD player package include a mounting bracket or do I need to buy one separately?

The box contains the CD player, a USB cable and printed instructions; no separate mounting bracket is mentioned, so you can place the unit vertically or horizontally wherever the cable reaches.
