Pro Star USB CD Player for Lexus RC F

This Pro Star external CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Lexus RC F models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle USB port and draws power from the same connection. Music is controlled through the original radio or steering wheel buttons.

Replacing a missing factory CD player

Many 2019-2026 RC F vehicles were delivered without a built-in CD drive. This unit restores that capability without replacing the head unit or running new wiring. The upgrade is worthwhile when you want to keep the factory infotainment system but still play physical discs.

USB-powered add-on for centre console or glove box

The player mounts vertically or horizontally wherever the USB cable reaches, such as the centre console or glove box. It requires an available USB port and a few minutes for disc indexing during first use. No extra wiring, adapters or tools are needed for installation.

Questions about this item

Where can the Pro Star CD player be mounted in a 2019-2026 Lexus RC F?

It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches the vehicle's USB port.

What is the installation step that causes setup issues if skipped?

You must allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use; interrupting this requires restarting the process from step one with a different disc.

Does the Pro Star unit need a separate power supply or battery replacement?

No, it is powered entirely through the car's USB port, so there is no separate power supply or internal battery to maintain or replace.
