Product Identity

Pro Star supplies a USB-powered CD player built to work with Lincoln MKX models from 2019 through 2026. The unit adds a single-disc slot to vehicles that left the factory without one. It draws power and data from the car's existing USB port.

Fitment Scope

Drivers who want to play physical CDs through the original radio and steering-wheel controls will find this device suitable. Owners of other vehicle makes or model years outside the stated range should look at a different solution.

Questions about this item

Does my Lincoln MKX need a factory USB port for this Pro Star CD player to work?

Yes, the unit draws power and data through the vehicle's USB port, so a functional port is required.

Will the Pro Star player respond to my MKX's existing steering-wheel audio buttons?

The device is designed to let the factory radio and steering-wheel controls manage playback once connected.

How do I know the Pro Star CD player has finished its initial indexing after I insert a disc?

Wait about two minutes for the indexing process to complete; if interrupted, remove the disc and restart the setup steps.
