Add CD Playback to Your Lotus Emira

This Pro Star USB CD player is designed for 2019-2026 Lotus Emira models that lack a factory disc drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. The unit enables audio CD playback through the car's original sound system using the existing radio or steering wheel controls.

Check Your Factory USB Port and Dashboard Space

Verify that your Emira has an accessible USB port capable of data transfer and sufficient cable reach for the chosen mounting location. The player must remain plugged in during use, so confirm the port stays powered in accessory mode. Allow two minutes for disc indexing after insertion before operating the controls to avoid setup issues.

Replaces Missing Factory CD Hardware

This device restores physical media playback for owners who still use CD collections after manufacturers removed built-in drives. The jump is worth it when you want direct control through OEM buttons without relying on Bluetooth streaming or auxiliary cables. It is not for buyers who need multi-disc changers, DVD video playback, or support for high-resolution audio files.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and does the Pro Star CD player need any extra cables or power adapters?

The package includes the USB CD player, a printed instruction manual and the USB cable that plugs directly into the vehicle's USB port; no additional wiring, tools or external power supply are required.

The title lists 2019 to 2026 — does that mean one model fits every Lotus Emira in that range?

Yes, the unit is described as compatible with the Lotus Emira across the full 2019-2026 span, so a single version covers those model years.

How long does the player take to index a CD before it works with the factory radio or steering wheel controls?

Allow two minutes for the disc to finish indexing; if the process is interrupted, insert a different CD and restart the installation from step one.
