Pro Star CD Player for Mazda 3 (2019-2026)

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Mazda 3 models that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for power and data with no additional wiring required. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. Installation follows the included printed instructions.

Plug-and-play USB connection

The single specification that decides fitment is the direct USB plug into the Mazda 3 factory port. No adapters, harnesses or tools are needed; the cable must simply reach the port. The device draws power from the same USB connection and is controlled through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons.

Handles standard audio CDs via USB indexing

The player reads ordinary music CDs once the mandatory two-minute indexing process finishes uninterrupted. If indexing is stopped early, the instructions require restarting the full setup with a different disc. Capacity is limited to single-disc playback through the vehicle's USB audio interface.

Questions about this item

Does the unit play CDs immediately after I plug it into the USB port?

Allow about two minutes for the disc to finish indexing before the system is ready; interrupting the process means starting over with a fresh disc.

What does the USB connection actually provide for this player?

The cable delivers power and carries the audio signal to the factory radio, so no separate wiring or adapter is required.

Where can I mount the player in a 2019-2026 Mazda 3?

It can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the supplied cable reaches the USB port.
