Ram 3500 CD Player Solution

The Pro Star Bluetooth USB CD Player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Ram 3500 trucks that left the factory without one. It draws power and data from the vehicle's existing USB port so no extra wiring or tools are needed.

Factory USB Port Compatibility

The unit connects directly to the truck's USB port and indexes each inserted disc for about two minutes before playback begins. Interrupting that process requires restarting the installation steps with a different disc.

Flexible Mounting Options

The compact player can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the supplied cable reaches the USB port. Music is then controlled through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons.

Questions about this item

How does the USB-powered CD player work once plugged into the Ram 3500?

It draws power from the vehicle USB port and lets you control playback through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons after a brief indexing period.

What connection does the unit use and what does it limit?

The cable plugs straight into the vehicle USB port, so no extra wiring is needed and the cable length determines where you can place the player.

Where can the CD player be mounted in the truck?

It can sit vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches.
