What the product is and who it is for

Pro Star supplies a USB-powered CD player that adds disc playback to the 2022-2026 Audi Q4 e-tron, which ships without a built-in drive. The unit connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and is controlled through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons.

What the bundled accessories

A printed instruction manual is included and must be followed step by step; the cable plugs into the USB port with no extra wiring or tools required. The device draws power from the same USB connection, so no separate power supply is needed.

How easy it is to install.

Mount the player vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the cable reaches the USB port. Allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use; interrupting this process means inserting a different CD and restarting the setup from step one.

Questions about this item

Will the laser mechanism need cleaning or replacement after extended use?

The optical pickup reads standard audio CDs and is designed for typical automotive duty cycles; occasional lens cleaning with a dry disc kit is the only routine care suggested.

What stops the unit from reading discs during a long drive?

Continuous vibration or a heavily scratched disc will cause read errors before any thermal limit is reached, so the disc condition is the practical ceiling.

Does the player generate noticeable heat or fan noise when powered all day?

It draws power only from the vehicle USB port, has no internal fan, and the chassis stays barely warm to the touch even after hours of playback.
