Vehicle-Specific Compatibility

This Pro Star USB CD player is designed for 2019-2026 Aston Martin DBX models that lack a factory disc drive. It restores the ability to play physical CDs through the car’s existing infotainment system. The unit targets owners who still keep a music library on disc and want it integrated with the dashboard interface.

Plug-and-Play Integration

The device draws power and data from a single USB port, so no extra wiring, adapters or tools are required. It can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches. Music is controlled through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons once the initial indexing finishes.

Replacing a Missing Factory Feature

This product fills the gap left when manufacturers stopped including built-in CD players. It is not suited for vehicles that already have a working disc slot or for buyers who only stream audio. The upgrade makes sense when the factory head unit supports USB CarPlay but the owner still wants direct disc playback.

Questions about this item

How long must I wait after inserting a CD before it is fully indexed and ready to use?

Allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing; if the process is interrupted, insert a different CD and restart the installation from step one.

Does the unit need a separate power supply or does it draw power from the car?

It is powered entirely through the vehicle's USB port, so no extra wiring or external power adapter is required.

What factory connection does the player plug into for CarPlay and control integration?

The cable plugs directly into the vehicle's USB port, enabling CarPlay and letting you control playback from the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.
