Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player

This Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019 to 2026 Aston Martin Vantage models that lack a factory CD player. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from that connection. Installation is plug-and-play with no extra wiring or tools required. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box.

Suits owners wanting CD playback

The device suits Vantage owners who want to play physical CDs through the factory radio or steering-wheel controls. It will not help buyers who need a head unit with built-in navigation, Bluetooth streaming or smartphone mirroring beyond the CarPlay link. Vehicles outside the 2019 to 2026 range are not supported.

USB-powered plug-and-play installation

The only specification that decides fitment is the USB-powered plug-and-play connection to the factory USB port. No additional wiring harness, power lead or dashboard modification is involved. Allow two minutes for each disc to finish indexing before use.

Questions about this item

What factory USB port does the Pro Star CD player need to connect to the Vantage's CarPlay system?

It plugs directly into the vehicle's existing USB port; no extra wiring or tools are required for the CarPlay link.

Will steering-wheel buttons still control playback when the Pro Star unit is added to a 2019-2026 Vantage?

Yes — the player works with the factory radio and steering-wheel controls so you can change tracks without touching the new device.

How do I confirm the Pro Star CD player has finished indexing a disc after installation?

Wait the full two minutes the manual specifies; once that period ends the CD is indexed and the system is ready to play.
