External CD Player for Audi Q4 e-tron

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Audi Q4 e-tron models that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the cable reaches.

Plug-and-play USB integration

Installation requires no extra wiring or tools; simply insert the cable into the factory USB port and follow the printed instructions. The system indexes each disc for about two minutes before playback begins, and track control is handled through the car's original radio or steering-wheel buttons.

For owners who still use physical CDs

This device suits drivers who want to listen to their existing CD collection through the factory infotainment system without replacing the head unit. Buyers who need Bluetooth streaming, digital file playback from USB sticks, or a multi-disc changer should look at other solutions.

Questions about this item

What does the 2019-2026 compatibility range mean for my Audi Q4 e-tron?

It confirms the CD player works with Q4 e-tron models produced between 2019 and 2026 by connecting to the factory USB port and integrating with the existing CarPlay system.

How does the USB interface limit the CD player's operation in the vehicle?

The USB port supplies all power and carries the audio data, so the player only functions when plugged into a compatible USB port that supports CarPlay audio input.

Where can I mount the unit inside the Q4 e-tron?

The player can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or anywhere the supplied USB cable reaches the vehicle's USB port.
