Adds a CD player to 2019-2026 Ferrari F8 Spider via USB with CarPlay integration
Pro Star supplies a USB CD player that lets 2019 to 2026 Ferrari F8 Spider owners listen to physical discs again. The unit connects directly to the factory USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay interface. No wiring or tools are required for installation. Music can be controlled from the original radio or steering wheel buttons.
The player draws power solely from the vehicle USB port and contains no internal fan. Heat dissipation is handled by the aluminium chassis during normal playback. No additional cooling or external power supply is needed. The device remains silent while reading discs.
This product supports standard audio CDs only and cannot play DVD, Blu-ray or data discs. Buyers who need video playback or multi-format reading should consider a different solution. The mechanism indexes each disc for about two minutes before playback begins. Interrupting that process requires restarting the setup with a new disc.

Plug the USB cable directly into the car's USB port. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. No extra wiring or tools are required. The step people miss is waiting two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using it.
The mechanism is a standard single-slot CD drive. Over time the laser lens can collect dust, so occasional cleaning with a lens-cleaning disc keeps read errors away. The USB cable and connector should be checked for wear if the unit is moved frequently.
The player draws all its power from the car's USB port. On very long sessions the port's current limit may cause the unit to reset or the disc to stop spinning, especially if other devices share the same port.
