Pro Star CarPlay CD Player for Fiat Tipo

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Fiat Tipo models lacking a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for power and CarPlay integration. Installation requires no wiring or tools, and the unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the console or in the glove box. Controls operate through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

Suits Tipo owners wanting CD playback

Drivers who only stream audio or use digital files have no need for this hardware. Buyers whose vehicles fall outside the 2019-2026 Tipo range cannot use this specific compatibility. The device draws power from the USB port, so a functional port is required. Anyone unwilling to wait for the indexing process should consider other options.

Two-minute CD indexing requirement

Every disc must index for two full minutes after insertion before playback begins. Interrupting this process forces a complete restart with a different disc and a return to step one of the instructions. This mandatory wait time is the single step that determines whether the installation succeeds or fails. Skipping it causes set-up issues that require repeating the entire procedure.

Questions about this item

Does my 2019–2026 Fiat Tipo need a factory USB port for this CD player to work?

Yes, the unit draws power and data from the car's USB port, so a working factory USB socket is required.

Will the Pro Star CD player let me keep using the original radio and steering-wheel buttons?

The device is designed to pass track control to the factory radio and steering-wheel controls once it is connected.

How do I know the CD player has finished setting up after I plug it in?

Wait about two minutes for the disc to finish indexing; if the process is interrupted, insert a different CD and restart the steps from the beginning.
