Add External CD Player to 2019-2026 Ford C-Max

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to Ford C-Max models from 2019 through 2026 that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with CarPlay so the factory radio or steering wheel controls manage playback. The unit is powered entirely by the USB connection, so no separate power wiring is required. Installation follows the included printed instructions and takes only a few minutes.

Plug-and-Play USB Powered Disc Playback

The player reads standard audio CDs and draws all power from the car's USB port, eliminating the need for an external adapter. After plugging in, the disc indexes for about two minutes before tracks become selectable through the infotainment screen or steering wheel buttons. Interrupting this indexing requires restarting the process with a different disc, so the wait must be observed. The compact chassis can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the cable reaches.

Replaces Missing Factory CD Drive for Disc Owners

This device is for drivers who still buy or own physical CDs and want them playable through the original audio system without replacing the head unit. It does not add Bluetooth, streaming apps, or support for video DVDs, so buyers wanting those features will need a different solution. The upgrade is worthwhile when the factory USB port is functional and the primary goal is simple, controlled CD playback using existing vehicle controls.
