Vehicle Compatibility

This Pro Star USB CD player is designed for 2019 to 2026 Ford Super Duty trucks including the F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 models. It restores the ability to play physical compact discs in vehicles that no longer include a factory disc drive.

Installation Method

The unit connects directly to the vehicle's USB port with no additional wiring or tools required. Power is drawn from the same USB connection, allowing the factory radio or steering wheel controls to manage playback once the device is recognised.

Setup Process

Mount the player vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches the USB port. Allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use; interrupting this process requires restarting the installation from the beginning with a different disc.

Questions about this item

What interface does the unit use and what functions does it enable?

It uses the vehicle USB port for both power and data, adding CarPlay access and CD playback without any extra wiring or adapters.

Where can the CD player be mounted in the cab?

The compact unit can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches the port.
