Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player 2019-2026 Ford Flex receiver

Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player 2019-2026 Ford Flex

This Pro Star receiver adds an external CD player to 2019 through 2026 Ford Flex models that no longer include a built-in unit. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and integrates with CarPlay so the factory radio or steering-wheel controls manage playback. The device is powered entirely by the USB connection, requiring no separate power source. Drivers who still prefer physical media can mount the player vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the cable reaches.

Check your Ford Flex USB port

Verify that your 2019 to 2026 Ford Flex has an accessible USB port capable of data transfer and that the infotainment system supports CarPlay. The player plugs directly into that port with no additional wiring or tools, but the cable must reach your chosen mounting location. Allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing during initial setup; interrupting the process means restarting from step one with a different disc. If your vehicle lacks a USB port or CarPlay, this unit will not function.

Replaces a missing factory CD player for owners

This receiver upgrades a Ford Flex that shipped without a CD drive, restoring the ability to play audio CDs through the original sound system. The jump is worth it when you have a library of discs you want to hear without ripping them first. It is not for buyers who only stream music, who need Bluetooth or auxiliary input instead of CarPlay, or who require a double-DIN chassis with a built-in screen.
