Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player 2019-2026 Genesis GV60

Pro Star CD Player for Genesis GV60

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Genesis GV60 models that lack a factory CD player. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay system. The unit draws power from the same USB connection, so no separate power wiring is required. Mounting options include vertical or horizontal placement on the centre console or in the glove box.

CarPlay USB interface limits

The device relies on the vehicle's USB port for both data and power, so the port must supply enough current for the drive mechanism. Audio playback is routed through the factory CarPlay implementation, meaning track selection and volume are handled by the original radio or steering-wheel controls. The supplied cable length restricts mounting positions to locations within reach of the USB port. A mandatory two-minute indexing period follows each disc insertion before the player becomes fully operational.

Check vehicle USB port and CarPlay support

Confirm that your Genesis GV60 is within the 2019-2026 model range and that it is equipped with a functional USB port and factory CarPlay. Verify the USB port can deliver sufficient power for an external optical drive, as some ports are limited to low-current charging only. Ensure you have a convenient mounting spot where the fixed-length cable reaches the port without strain. Plan for the two-minute indexing wait each time you change discs.
