Add CD Playback to 2019-2026 Honda Accord

This Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to Accord models from 2019 through 2026 that left the factory without one. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay interface so audio CDs can be controlled from the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches.

Check USB Port and CarPlay Compatibility

Verify that your Accord has a functional USB data port that supports CarPlay before ordering. The device draws all its power from that port and requires no extra wiring, so a charge-only socket will not work. Allow two minutes for the first disc to finish indexing; interrupting the process means restarting the full setup with a different CD.

USB Power Draw and Silent Operation

Because the player is powered entirely through the car's USB connection, its current draw stays within the port's standard supply budget and adds no measurable load to the vehicle electrical system. With no internal fan and only the drive mechanism moving during playback, operation is effectively silent in normal cabin conditions. The compact enclosure produces no noticeable heat during extended use.
