Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player 2019-2026 Jaguar F-Type receiver

External CD Player for Jaguar F-Type

This USB CD player adds a physical disc drive to 2019-2026 Jaguar F-Type models that lack a factory-installed unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay interface. The device draws power from the same connection, requiring no separate wiring or adapters. It is designed for owners who still use compact discs and want them accessible through the original infotainment system.

Replaces missing factory CD capability

Jaguar removed built-in CD players from the F-Type during this model range, leaving drivers no native way to play discs. This unit restores that function without modifying the dashboard or head unit. The upgrade is worth it when your music library exists primarily on CD and you prefer steering-wheel or factory radio control over auxiliary devices. It is not for buyers who stream all audio or already use a digital library on a connected phone.

Limited to USB port placement and indexing time

The cable length restricts mounting to locations within reach of the USB port, such as the centre console or glove box. Installation requires a mandatory two-minute indexing period for each new disc before playback begins. Interrupting this process forces a full restart with a different disc and a repeat of the setup steps. The player cannot operate independently of the CarPlay session and offers no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or standalone file navigation.
