Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player

The Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player adds a single-disc CD drive to 2019 through 2026 Lexus LC Convertible models that lack a factory player. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay interface so audio can be controlled from the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

Plug-and-play USB installation

The unit draws power directly from the car's USB port, requiring no extra wiring, adapters or tools. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or any location where the cable reaches the port, leaving the original dashboard layout untouched.

Drivers who still use physical CDs

This player suits owners who want to keep listening to their CD collection through the factory infotainment system. Buyers who need multi-disc changing, DVD playback or Bluetooth streaming should look at a different solution.

Questions about this item

How long must I wait for the CD to finish indexing before the player works reliably?

Allow 2 minutes for the CD to finish indexing; interrupting the process means starting the installation again with a different disc.

Does the USB-powered CD player add noticeable heat or electrical load during all-day use?

The unit draws power from the car's USB port with no extra wiring, so heat and power draw stay minimal during continuous operation.

What factory feature must my Lexus LC Convertible already have for this CD player to connect?

Your vehicle needs a functional USB port; the player plugs directly into that port with no additional wiring required.
