Add-On CD Player for Lexus RX Hybrid

Suits owners who want physical media playback

Drivers who only stream audio or use digital files will not need this accessory. Buyers whose vehicle does not have an accessible USB port or whose infotainment system does not support external CD drives should look elsewhere.

Plug-and-play USB integration

The device indexes each disc for about two minutes before it becomes controllable through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons. The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box.

Questions about this item

Does the Pro Star CD player come with everything needed to install it, or do I need a separate power cable?

The package includes the USB CD player, a printed instruction manual, and the USB cable that plugs directly into the vehicle's USB port. No additional wiring, tools, or separate power supply are required because the unit draws power from the USB connection.

Is there more than one version of this Pro Star player for the 2019 to 2026 Lexus RX Hybrid, or is it a single model?

The supplier lists one model described as compatible with the 2019 through 2026 Lexus RX Hybrid. No alternative versions, capacities, or trim-specific variants are mentioned in the product information.

After plugging the Pro Star player into the USB port, how long before I can control CDs from the factory radio or steering wheel?

You must allow approximately two minutes for the CD to finish indexing after insertion. Once indexing completes, the factory radio and steering wheel controls will operate the player; interrupting the process means restarting with a different disc.
