Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player for Mazda CX3

This external CD player adds disc playback to Mazda CX3 models from 2019 through 2026 that lack a factory unit. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and integrates with CarPlay so tracks can be controlled from the original radio or steering wheel buttons. The device is powered entirely by the USB connection.

Plug-and-play installation

No wiring, tools or dashboard removal are required; the cable plugs directly into the car's USB port and the unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. Printed instructions are included. The most common issue is interrupting the mandatory two-minute CD indexing process — if this happens, a different disc must be inserted and the full setup repeated from step one.

Check USB port availability

Verify that your Mazda CX3 has a functional USB port that supports data transfer, not charging only, and that the infotainment system offers CarPlay. The cable must reach the chosen mounting location without strain. Vehicles without CarPlay or with a USB port reserved for other functions will not work with this player.

Questions about this item

How do I know the Pro Star CD player is working correctly after I plug it into my 2019 Mazda CX3 USB port?

Allow two minutes for the disc to finish indexing after insertion; once indexing completes the factory radio or steering wheel controls will operate playback normally.

What comes in the box with the Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player and what extra items are needed?

The package includes the external single CD player unit, a USB cable that plugs directly into the vehicle port and printed installation instructions; no additional wiring, tools or power adapters are required.

Which Pro Star CD player version should I choose for a Mazda CX3 built between 2019 and 2026?

This single model is designed for 2019 through 2026 Mazda CX3 vehicles, so the listed unit covers the entire range without separate versions or capacities to select.
