External CD Player for 2019-2026 Mercedes-Benz GLA

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to GLA models that lack a factory slot. It is aimed at owners who still use physical media and want a simple way to hear their CDs through the original sound system. The unit draws power and data from the vehicle's USB port, so no extra wiring is required.

Thermals noise and power draw

The device is powered entirely by the car's USB connection, so it adds negligible load to the electrical system. It has no internal fan or moving cooling parts, so operation is silent. The mechanism only spins when a disc is playing, keeping heat output minimal during normal use.

What the bundled items change

A printed instruction manual is included and must be followed exactly, including a two-minute indexing wait after inserting a disc. The player can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches. No additional brackets, adapters or software are supplied.
