External CD Player for Polestar 1

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019 to 2026 Polestar 1 models that lack a factory CD player. It connects directly to the vehicle USB port and is powered through the same connection. Music playback is controlled using the existing factory radio or steering wheel controls.

Check USB port and mounting space

Verify that your Polestar 1 has an accessible USB port capable of data transfer and enough cable reach for the chosen mounting location. The unit can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches. Allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use.

Replaces missing factory CD player

This device restores the ability to play physical CDs in vehicles where the manufacturer omitted a built-in drive. The upgrade is worth it for owners who still use a CD collection and want a plug-and-play solution without additional wiring or tools.
