Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player

The Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player is an external single-disc drive built for 2019-2026 Toyota Land Cruiser models. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from that connection. The unit adds CD playback to vehicles that no longer include a factory disc player.

Plug-and-play installation

No additional wiring or tools are required; the cable plugs into the existing USB port and the device is ready after a short indexing period. Music can be controlled from the factory radio or steering wheel controls. The player can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches.

Suits Land Cruiser owners who still use CDs

This product suits drivers of compatible Land Cruiser models who want to listen to physical discs without replacing the head unit. Buyers whose vehicles fall outside the 2019-2026 range or who lack an accessible USB port should look at other solutions.

Questions about this item

Will the USB cable or connector need replacing after frequent plugging and unplugging?

The device plugs directly into the vehicle USB port with no additional wiring; the cable is fixed to the unit and designed for permanent or semi-permanent mounting.

What limits continuous playback from a CD during long trips?

The player draws power from the car USB port, so playback lasts as long as the vehicle supplies power; allow two minutes for each disc to finish indexing before use.

Does the unit get warm or make noise when running all day?

The CD player has no fan and is powered by the vehicle USB port; it operates silently with only the disc motor audible and stays cool during extended use.
