Pro Star CarPlay CD Player for Toyota Sequoia

This Pro Star USB CD player adds a single disc drive to 2019-2026 Toyota Sequoia models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for power and data, requiring no extra wiring or tools. The compact design allows vertical or horizontal mounting on the centre console or in the glove box.

Plug-and-play USB connection

The device plugs into the car's existing USB port and interfaces with the factory CarPlay system to enable disc playback. Controls are handled through the original radio or steering wheel buttons. A mandatory two-minute indexing period is required after inserting a disc to complete the setup process without errors.

Ideal for Sequoia owners wanting physical media

This unit suits drivers who still use CDs and want a simple, reversible installation that preserves the factory dashboard. It is not for buyers whose vehicles lack a USB port or CarPlay compatibility, or for those needing multi-disc changers, Bluetooth streaming, or support for model years outside the 2019-2026 range.

Questions about this item

How does the CD player work once it is plugged into the USB port of a 2019-2026 Toyota Sequoia?

The unit draws power from the USB port and communicates through the vehicle's CarPlay system. After insertion, allow two minutes for the disc to index before using the factory radio or steering wheel controls to play tracks.

What interface does the player use and what functions does it enable?

It connects via the vehicle's USB port using CarPlay, which carries both power and audio data so the factory head unit can browse and play CDs without extra wiring.

Where can the device be mounted in the Sequoia?

The player can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or any location where the attached USB cable reaches the port.
