External CD Player for 2019-2026 Toyota Tundra

This Pro Star unit adds a single-disc CD player to vehicles that no longer include one from the factory. It is designed specifically for the 2019 through 2026 Toyota Tundra model range. The device connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for both power and data. No additional wiring or tools are required for installation.

Plug-and-play operation with factory controls

After connecting the USB cable, the system requires approximately two minutes to index each disc before playback begins. Interrupting this process requires restarting the setup with a different disc. Once indexed, music is controlled using the factory radio interface or steering wheel buttons. The unit draws power solely from the USB connection.

USB-only connectivity limits placement

The cable must reach the vehicle's USB port, which determines where the player can be mounted. It can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or any accessible location within cable reach. Vehicles without an available USB port cannot use this device.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-powered Pro Star CD player add noticeable heat or drain during long drives?

The unit draws power only from the vehicle USB port and has no internal fan, so it adds negligible heat and minimal electrical load while playing discs all day.

My Tundra already has a factory USB port — is anything else required to make this player work?

No extra wiring, adapters or tools are needed; the cable plugs directly into the existing USB port and the printed instructions guide you through the two-minute indexing step.

Can I keep using my factory radio and steering-wheel buttons to control playback with this player added?

Yes, the Pro Star unit integrates with the original head unit so track selection, volume and source switching remain on the factory controls.
