External CD player for Volkswagen Golf

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Volkswagen Golf models that lack a factory CD slot. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay system so audio CDs can be controlled through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

Plug-and-play installation with flexible mounting

The unit draws power from the USB connection and requires no additional wiring or tools. It can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box or anywhere the supplied cable reaches the USB port, keeping the cabin tidy while retaining full disc playback.

Check USB port location

Verify that your Golf has an accessible USB port within cable reach of the intended mounting spot. The installation process requires a two-minute indexing period for each new disc; interrupting this step means restarting the procedure from the beginning with a different CD.
