Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player 2019-2026 Volvo EX30 receiver

Pro Star CD Player for Volvo EX30

This external USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Volvo EX30 models that lack a built-in drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the factory CarPlay system. The unit is powered entirely through that same USB connection. Drivers who want to listen to their existing CD collections without replacing the head unit are the intended users.

Plug-and-play setup with indexing wait

Installation requires no tools or extra wiring; the cable simply plugs into the car's USB port and the player can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the console or in the glove box. Printed instructions are included. The critical step is allowing two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use; interrupting this process means restarting the entire procedure from step one with a different disc.

Single-disc playback via USB CarPlay

The device handles one standard audio CD at a time, delivering audio through the vehicle's existing CarPlay interface and factory controls including steering-wheel buttons. It draws all power from the USB port, so there is no separate power supply to manage. The player does not support DVD video, data discs or multiple-disc changers, and it cannot operate without an active CarPlay connection in the vehicle.
