Pro Star CarPlay CD Player

The Pro Star unit adds a single-disc CD player to 2019-2026 Volvo V60 models that left the factory without one. It connects directly to the vehicle USB port and draws power from the same connection, so no extra wiring or tools are required. The device integrates with the factory radio and steering-wheel controls for playback management.

Drivers who want physical media playback

Owners of compatible V60s who still use CDs will find the plug-and-play installation simple and the vertical or horizontal mounting options flexible. Buyers whose vehicle falls outside the 2019-2026 range or who lack a usable USB port should look at something else, as the unit depends entirely on that interface for both power and data.

Sustained playback after initial indexing

After insertion the disc requires about two minutes to finish indexing before normal operation begins; interrupting this process means restarting the full setup with a different disc. Once indexed, the player runs continuously from the USB supply without additional thermal or power management steps described in the data.
