Add External CD Player to Cadillac CTS

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019 through 2026 Cadillac CTS models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle USB port with no extra wiring or tools required. The package includes printed instructions and can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the console or in the glove box.

Steady Operation After Initial Indexing

Each disc requires about two minutes to finish indexing before playback becomes reliable. Interrupting that process means restarting the setup with a different disc and repeating the full procedure from step one. Once indexing completes, the player delivers consistent read performance for the duration of the drive.

USB Powered With Factory Control Integration

The unit draws power from the car USB port, so there is no separate power supply or battery drain concern. Volume, track selection and other functions are handled through the original radio or steering wheel controls. No additional cooling or noise considerations apply because the device has no internal fan.

Questions about this item

Does the Pro Star USB CD Player draw extra power from the car's electrical system when it runs all day?

It is powered entirely through the vehicle's USB port, so it adds no separate load on the car's electrical system during extended use.

What must the Cadillac CTS already have for this Pro Star CD Player to function?

The vehicle needs a working USB port that the player's cable can reach, because the unit plugs directly into that port with no extra wiring.

Will the Pro Star CD Player integrate with the factory radio and steering wheel controls on a 2019-2026 Cadillac CTS?

Yes, it is designed so you control music playback from the original radio or steering wheel buttons after the two-minute indexing finishes.
