Add a CD player to your Bolt EUV

This Pro Star USB CD player lets 2019-2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV owners play audio CDs again. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port with no extra wiring or tools required. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. Controls work through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

Powered by the car USB port

The device draws power from the vehicle USB connection so no separate supply is needed. Operation is silent with no moving cooling parts to generate noise. Heat output is minimal and handled by the car's cabin environment. The plug-and-play design means the electrical load stays within the port's normal limits.

Simple mounting and daily use

A printed instruction sheet is included and the maker stresses allowing two minutes for CD indexing before use. Interrupting that process means restarting the steps with a different disc. The flexible mounting options let you place the player where the cable reaches the USB port. It adds single-disc playback without permanent installation.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Pro Star USB CD Player in my 2019-2026 Chevrolet Bolt EUV, and what step do people often miss?

Plug the cable into the vehicle's USB port, mount the unit where the cable reaches, then wait two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the controls; interrupting this forces a full restart with a different disc.

What maintenance or replacement will the Pro Star USB CD Player need over time?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts; keep the lens clean with a standard CD lens cleaner disc and replace the device only if the mechanism fails or the USB cable is damaged.

What limit appears first during extended use of the Pro Star USB CD Player?

Continuous operation is limited by the vehicle USB port's power output; if the port cannot supply enough current, the player may stop reading or eject the disc until it cools or power recovers.
