Add-on CD player for 2019-2026 Silverado

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds disc playback to 1500, 2500 and 3500 models that no longer include a factory CD drive. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection, so no extra wiring or tools are required. The unit can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches.

Check USB port access and indexing time

Verify that your Silverado has an accessible USB port within reach of the supplied cable before ordering. Installation requires allowing two minutes for the disc to finish indexing; interrupting this process means restarting from step one with a different CD. Steering-wheel and factory-radio controls operate the player once setup is complete.

Sustained playback from USB power

During extended drives the player runs continuously on the vehicle's USB supply without needing a separate power source. The plug-and-play design maintains communication with the factory head unit so track selection and volume respond through the original controls. Disc reading remains stable as long as the USB connection stays seated and the indexing step was completed correctly.
