Replaces Missing Factory CD Playback

This device restores the ability to listen to audio CDs through the vehicle's original sound system. The jump is worthwhile when the factory head unit lacks a disc slot but retains a functional USB port and steering-wheel audio controls. If the vehicle's USB port is already occupied or non-functional, or if the factory radio cannot recognise external USB audio sources, the upgrade will not work.

Single-Disc Capacity with USB-Powered Operation

The player handles one standard audio CD at a time and indexes each disc in roughly two minutes before playback begins. It mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches. Operation stops if the USB port cannot supply enough current or if the factory radio does not support external USB audio class devices.
