External CD Player for Ferrari Portofino

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019 to 2026 Ferrari Portofino models that lack a factory CD drive. It draws power from the vehicle USB port and requires no extra wiring or tools. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. Installation follows the printed instructions supplied in the box.

Ideal for owners who still use physical discs

Drivers who want to listen to their existing CD collection through the factory radio or steering-wheel controls will find this a direct plug-and-play solution. Buyers who only stream audio or use USB media have no need for an external disc mechanism. The device does not add Bluetooth streaming if the car lacks factory Bluetooth integration.

Plug-and-play USB connection and indexing time

The single specification that decides fitment is the direct USB connection to the vehicle port, which also powers the unit. A mandatory two-minute indexing period per disc must complete before playback starts; interrupting it forces a full restart of the setup steps.

Questions about this item

How long does the CD indexing take before the player is ready for daily use?

Allow two minutes for the disc to finish indexing during initial setup; interrupting the process means restarting with a different CD.

Does the unit draw enough USB current to cause noticeable heat on a long drive?

It is powered solely from the car’s USB port with no external supply, so heat output stays minimal.

Which factory USB port must the car already have for this player to function?

The cable plugs directly into the vehicle’s existing USB port — no extra wiring or adapters are required.
